Private Client 3+ Well-Liked Commercial Firm

REF: PR1840

As a leading light in the City landscape, this well liked, in-demand firm is looking to bolster its private wealth team. With luxurious offices, terrific in house training and devoted partners, this is a fantastic opportunity that will give you access to an impressive client list.

The work will be broad and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of partners across the private capital team and on occasions the real estate and corporate teams. You will advise on private wealth matters, often with a focus on tax.

You will already be working with an international high net worth client base and be comfortable providing advice on multi-jurisdictional wealth planning strategies with international tax and trust issues.

The work is both bespoke and rewarding and you’ll have the opportunity to build an impressive career under the guidance and tutelage of an impressive array of partners. You will also be encouraged to get involved with business development and marketing initiatives. It will be helpful (although not essential) if you have obtained or are studying towards the CTA and/or STEP qualification.

You will have experience of the areas described above and come from a well-regarded City or regional firm. You will be UK qualified, be in permanent UK employment and have strong academics (minimum 2:1 from a good University and As and Bs at A-Level or equivalent).

Corporate Tax 5+ Real Estate & Corporate Transactions – Partnership Opportunities

REF: PR1990

The time has come for you to decide on your future. Do you want partnership? Do you want it at a firm that has an impressive international presence? Do you want an opportunity to control your own destiny?

Whilst it never hurts to have your own pre-existing client relationships, you are not expected to have a following. As such, you can expect to work within a broad selection of sectors that will include construction, transport and infrastructure, banking and financial services, distribution and logistics, hotels and leisure, engineering and surveying, retail and energy and natural resources.

You will get involved with domestic and international tax advice for corporate and real estate transactions, including corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, VAT, SDLT and stamp duty. Your clients will include local authorities, corporations, pension funds, charities and registered providers of social housing.

You will have experience of the areas described above and come from a well-regarded City or regional firm. You will be UK qualified, be in permanent UK employment and have strong academics (minimum 2:1 from a good University and As and Bs at A-Level or equivalent).

You have been with your firm since your training contract. It’s been fun but now it is time for a change. Alternatively, you are at the second firm of your career. You moved on qualification. Either way, you need a new challenge and 2017 is looking like a good year for tax lawyers.  This particular client has a really broad role on offer, with access to a plethora of clients and cross-border matters.

The work will include domestic and international tax advice for corporate and real estate transactions, including corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, VAT, SDLT and stamp duty.
